Location: Minneapolis, MN
Job Description:
- Drive significant LTCI and senior market production by developing
and executing retail and wholesaling processes and activities for Long
Term Care and senior market products with new and current clients. Appointments
are set from existing book of business.
- Develop, prepare and communicate approved FMS LTC and senior market
products, presentations, sales materials, and forms for assigned intermediary
customers and their licensed representatives to promote the profitable
sale of LTC and senior market products.
- Assist sales of LTCI/senior market for licensed and appointed firm
partner brokers, assist them in educating their customers on LTC/senior
markets and help customers realize the need for the product.
- Execute client workshops/seminars, broker training on LTC/senior
market product.
- Incrementally increase broker penetration and share with partner firms.
- Initiate and maintain timely written and verbal report of field activities
and sales results to provide management and other concerned FMS parties
with current developments and areas that need to be addressed.
Qualifications
- Carries out business with integrity
- Thorough knowledge of LTC/senior market industry and demonstrated
ability to learn LTC/senior market products
- B.A./B.S. or equivalent experience in insurance/sales environment
- Proven, demonstrable sales skills
- Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills
- License to sell life and health insurance
- Passionate, highly motivated, positive demeanor
Desired
- Prior insurance wholesaling, sales experience
- Prior LTC/senior market retail experience
- Prior exposure to intermediary firm culture
- Minimum of 5 years experience in insurance/LTC/senior market sales
